Hive Relax is a class designed to help you slow down and catch your breath. Small props such as balls, loop bands, or sliders are used to develop strength and stability. This class incorporates the general principles of traditional Pilates while offering movements to enhance your overall mobility. Hive Pilates Fusion is a system focused on building your core by stabilizing muscles in the body for better posture and quality of movement. A guided meditation is typically offered. Modifications are offered to ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience. The first half of class you can expect Sun Salutations and some standing poses to warm the body, followed by yin/restorative poses to get into big muscle groups, offering deep relaxation. Hive Flow & Restore is for everyone and is designed for all levels. We encourage everyone to come as they are and do what they can. Hive Flow is an all levels vinyasa flow class, offering modifications and advanced concepts alike with a fun lighthearted approach. Dynamic sequences, arm balances, and inversions will be offered. Prior yoga experience will make this class a more enjoyable experience, as basic poses will not be broken down and advanced poses will be taught. It is a power vinyasa flow, which means the class is a moving meditation or flow of poses that links breath to movement through dynamic and challenging sequences designed to build strength, increase stamina, and lengthen and tone the body.
